Arlington, United States - July 10, 2018 /CMG/ —

PGA of America is renowned for its professional golf tours as well as the association’s commitment to promoting the love of golf to players of all ages and from all backgrounds. This year Mobile Pro Shop also celebrates the continuation of its partnership with Professional Golf Association (PGA) sections, including the Georgia PGA section. On September 10, 2018, Athens Country Club will play host to the Club Car Pro-Assistant Championship, presented by Under Armour and Mobile Pro Shop.

Mobile Pro Shop has been a proud sponsor of the Georgia PGA section for many years. The Georgia PGA has numerous events during the year to promote the game of golf. Many of those revolve around the successful Georgia PGA Foundation. Founded in 1974 in Memoriam of Robert T. Jones, the foundation’s mission is to introduce and engage individuals of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds to the game of golf by providing instruction, education and playing opportunities. Along with the scholarship and grant programs, the Georgia PGA Foundation is also actively involved with hospitals in the Atlanta and Savannah areas with club professionals regularly bringing the game of golf to young patients.

This year Mobile Pro Shop celebrates its 45th business anniversary in the golf accessory industry. The company’s roots began in 1973 when they were established in Atlanta. They later moved to the Memphis area in 2006, establishing their base in Arlington, TN. Mobile Pro Shop is proud to celebrate not only 45 years in business but also their legacy in providing club professionals at private and public courses with the high-quality, customized tournament golf products they need.

The entire Mobile Pro Shop family thanks their customers for 45 years of support and looks forward to more opportunities to serve them with products they need.
